Anthony-Donald-TrumpWelp. In today’s fuckboy behavior news, Anthony Mackie has endorsed Donald Trump. And not as an advocate for idiocy. But as the president of the United States of America.

Mackie recently said, “I would 100 percent want to run Trump’s campaign. 100 percent. I mean, first that’ll be the best party ever when he won, and second, Trump’s an easy sell… When you look at Trump, he’s an easy sell because you can sell him as the guy who worked his way up from nothing. And I think if you’re a ‘pull yourself up by your bootstraps’ candidate, people would identify with that. I’m on the bandwagon. I’m drinking the Kool-Aid!”

Hey, Clayton Bigsby, er, Anthony Mackie! You do realize that Trump isn’t really concerned with the issues affecting people of color, or any other marginalized groups like poor people, correct? If Trump is an easy sell for you, please just go ahead and drown yourself in the not so shallow pool of Americans who are bigoted idiots that likely don’t understand how fundamental reading is. If these Trump “supporters” understood that, in layman’s terms, he would be working to undo everything that is currently benefitting them, they might think twice.

Also. I’m not of the mind that working your way up from nothing includes starting your career at a company your dad owns…but hey, I’m different à la 2 Chainz.

I think Anthony might have missed the memo that he’s Black. And The Donald has very little respect for, well, anyone who doesn’t resemble him in every way. So, if you’re not white, don’t own a penis and aren’t of the hetero-normative ilk, “You’re fired!”

Let me pick this apart a bit more thoroughly for anyone who’s still confused. There are definitely things that helped Trump work “his way up from nothing”. Wrote a song about it. Like to hear it? Here it go.

1. White male patriarchy.
2. White privilege. This benefits every white person on Earth, even when they don’t understand it or are in complete denial about it and/or its existence.

Anthony MackieDoes Mackie need the Cliff’s Notes or what?
Example: Donald Trump utters too much reckless shit to keep track of. No consequence. Ben Carson does it, and countless media entities encourage him to pull out of the presidential campaign.

Anthony. Dear. If Trump wins, he’ll most definitely be the first candidate to get on board with sending your Black ass back to Africa. Has the loud noise from your movie sets managed to kill your hearing and your ability to think?

I hope this isn’t some dumbass ploy for attention, but if so, NAILED IT, homie! May God have mercy on our souls. Because this is exactly what we don’t need. Another Black “celebrity” metaphorically dredging his face in flour in the hopes of shucking and jiving his way further up the food chain.

Being a Black man who jumps on the “bandwagon” of anyone clamoring to follow in the footsteps of the Grand Old Party sounds like a fuckin’ glorious way to shoot yourself in the foot. It makes one irresponsible at the very least. And Mackie’s publicizing of such a polarizing statement is a surefire way to alienate people of color who planned on supporting his upcoming theatrical releases.

All this might sound unfair, but oh well. Life’s not fair.
