Hey White Folks.
We’re all hip to how you worship your dogs as deities and sh–, but Black people are tired of your putting the lives and legacies of f*cking animals above those of people of color.
Every time I exhale, your people are turning an instance of equality (Abigail Fisher),
Yet today, I turn on the radio to hear a deejay recounting how some folks (undoubtedly of the non-melanated ilk) are mad because Serena Williams has been named Sports Illustrated’s 2015 SportsPERSON of the year. Over a gahtdamn horse.
Surely, this was a joke. Logged on to my computer to read up. Nope, not a joke.
With all the sordid shit the descendants of your ancestors have done and still are engaging in, THIS is what you choose to be irate about, white people??
Serena is the epitome of Black Beauty, and may be likened to a thoroughbred, but not the kind with four-legs, you peonic b*tches.
Serena, unlike American Pharoah, actually DESERVES the honor that has been bestowed upon her. An honor a woman hasn’t been the recipient of for the last 32 years.
A mere glance at the athletic powerhouse’s career achievements will illustrate just how excruciatingly hard Ms. Williams has worked and continues to work her ass off to reign as the untouchable, world-class champion that she is.
That’s right, reign.
Regality is in our DNA, no matter how much or often you attempt to snuff it out.
Serena Williams is out here making history, while your people continue to relive theirs.
So prostrate yourselves and bow down.

P.S. For any non-POC reading this, it is not an attempt to get you to wake up, and it sure as hell isn’t reverse racism (that can’t exist). I’m simply a realist.*
*No, I don’t hate white people, but those in denial of their privilege need their brain checked. And by “brain checked”, I mean consult a doctor to see if they still have one.
